NakedTube Launches Flagship Site

TAMPA, Fla. — NakedTube Inc. announced today the launch of the beta version of NakedTube.com, its flagship website.

The site is a tube site with search capabilities that enable users to search for items tailored specifically according to their tastes. Once users type in keywords when searching for a video, NakedTube.com not only presents them with a list of matches, but also remembers the keywords and recommends similar content.

“As far as I know, there’s not another site out there that can remember taste preferences in videos,” Benjamin Meynell, NakedTube Inc. CEO, told XBIZ. “We categorize exactly what’s in the video, and users can rate the videos with a ‘thumbs up’ or a ‘thumbs down.’ If they give it a ‘thumbs down,’ the site never shows the video again. If they give it a ‘thumbs up,’ the site remembers and gives recommendations.”

On its “about” page, the site says its mission is to battle the inherent “sexual repression and stigma” in society.

“I wrote the ‘about’ page when we were first starting this project, so it really epitomizes everything we’re trying to do with this,” Meynell said. “It’s about empowerment and freedom of expression. This sexual repression and stigma in America and in the world needs to be addressed, and people can become part of that by uploading content and using the site.”

Meynell added that new designs and new features, such as play lists, are in the works, and that the site is expected to formally launch after the first quarter of this year.
