Elecard, a provider of video and audio software products and video compression technology headquartered in Russia, is now offering complimentary server-side video software to adult entertainment companies from now until the company’s 21st anniversary on April 22.
The offer was created in response to the industry bailout requested by adult entertainment industry entrepreneurs Larry Flynt and Joe Francis last Wednesday, said Elecard President Andrey Posdnyakov.
The offer is valid on a number of software packages, including CodecWorks, VCinema, StreamEye Studio and Converter Studio Pro and ProHD. It also applies to existing contracts, so adult entertainment industry companies are not required to pay royalties on these software packages until the offer ends in April.
“It’s the least we can do for such an important business,” Posdnyakov said. “If you think the Internet was made by scientists working on the ARPANET project in the mid-1970s, you are wrong. It was made by the adult entertainment industry in the mid-1990s. This is our economic stimulus package for the companies that have given us so much stimulus.”
Interested companies should contact Elecard directly for more information.
