Aria Giovanni Teams With Brickhouse Mobile

DENVER — Brickhouse Mobile on Monday announced an exclusive wireless distribution deal with Aria Giovanni.

In its first individual adult star deal for Brickhouse, Giovanni joins an array of adult brands that recently signed with Brickhouse, including New Frontier Media, Wicked Pictures, Suze Randall, Falcon Studios and Homegrown Video.

With the multiyear deal, Brickhouse will offer mobile users a collection of Giovanni’s images and video. Brickhouse also will offer Giovanni’s ringtones.

The products will launch by October through her existing website, an Aria Giovanni-branded WAP site and applications on authorized carrier decks throughout the U.S. and international markets.

“Aria [Giovanni] is one of the industry’s biggest names, and most recognized celebrities,” Brickhouse President Clint Fayling said. “Being one of the most downloaded models on the Internet, we are highly motivated to make her one of the most popular icons in the wireless world too.”

The wireless adult service sector is forecast to generate $1.9 billion in worldwide revenue by 2008, according to Juniper Research.

In Europe, consumers who are purchasing adult content on their cellphones are spending an average of $34 a year, Juniper reports.

In another forecast, The Yankee Group said that ringtones are expected to grow to $1 billion by 2008. In 2003, they generated $80 million in revenue.

Giovanna, one of the more entrepreneurial online adult stars, sells posters, books and photo CD sets, as well as 8x10 glossies and several magazines where she was cover girl, on her site.

With the new revenue stream, Giovanni said she welcomed a new way to connect with fans.

“It’s a match made in technology heaven, and I look forward to seeing where we will go,” she said.
