SocialKink.com Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary

CHARLOTTE — With an eye toward the future and on development, fetish community website SocialKink.com is celebrating its one-year anniversary.

Since the site's launch in 2007, SocialKink's creative team has been expanding its scope and functionality. Among the new changes have been improvements to the site's message board and groups features, as well as a new photo of the week.

"By keeping our ears closer to the ground and taking a more personal approach, we've been able to address the suggestions of the site's users even more efficiently," Social Kink Promotions Manager Nature Levon said. "The next year for SocialKink promises to be even better than the first."

Also among SocialKink's latest upgrades has been the addition of custom profile skins for site's user profiles. Available skins feature model Kumi of KumiMonster.com, sex educator and novelist Midori and performer Buck Angel. Kumi and Midori are already active on SocialKink.com as guest bloggers, and their posts can be found in the site's Exclusives section.

Members of SocialKink.com who wish to use the new skins can find them through the Customize Layout section of the SocialKink member control panel.

Along with site upgrades, SocialKink representatives said that maintaining a public presence at events remains a chief concern for the company. Over its first year, SocialKink sponsored SwingFest, Atlanta's Skin Two Pre Pervy Party and the eighth annual FetishCon.
