Q&A: Sabina Rouge Sizzles With Intimacy on Cam

Q&A: Sabina Rouge Sizzles With Intimacy on Cam

Sultry and sweet, Sabina Rouge is a fast-rising star in adult entertainment, with a background in camming, clips and studio-shot scenes.

Her empowering path to hundreds of thousands of social media followers, a booming OnlyFans and a brand ambassador contract with top-tier platform CAM4 make for an inspiring tale of rising up from humble beginnings.

The reason I see my fans as lovers, is I get to see a side to them that they probably don’t get to show very often.

“There was a period in my life when I was not as fortunate as I am now,” Rouge told XBIZ. “I was homeless, traveling around the U.S. until I met this beautiful girl. I totally fell in love with her and her lifestyle. She was funny, bright and told me about her experience as a cam girl.”

That fateful encounter led her to begin camming together with the model. A year later, Rouge was hit up by Playboy, “and that’s when my career started blossoming.”

She enthused, “This is my little cam life fairy tale!”

With numerous accolades under her belt — like Penthouse Pet, Twistys Treat and now XBIZ Cam Star of the Month — the dynamic entrepreneur sat down with us to share her story in this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: Discuss your various business ventures, and how you juggle them all in a given week.

Rouge: I’m currently contracted by CAM4 as their ambassador, and creating content takes up about 20 hours a week. Aside from camming, I also do promotional shoots and events regularly. I love my work because it gives me the perfect opportunity to explore and focus on my other passion: writing and producing music. I work seven days a week, but when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. You can definitely say I have a passion with the freedom of exploring my sexuality with all of my supporters.

XBIZ: Can you please tell us about your partnership with CAM4 and what fans can expect to see when they watch your shows?

Rouge: I’m so excited to be partnering with CAM4! I truly wanted to be able to cam again and my dreams came true when CAM4 gave me this amazing opportunity. I’m so happy and excited to be able to engage with my fans live again!

I love being a girlfriend to all my lovers and supporters. My ultimate fantasy is being your fantasy! I want to make my fans/supporters feel like no matter what, I will not judge them, but instead I want to help them embrace themselves in a healthy and sexy way.

My shows are for friendship and fantasy. Let’s make both our fantasies come true by coming together and experiencing the purest form of ourselves without fear of judgment.

XBIZ: How has your background in shooting for studios helped improve your streaming and content creation game?

Rouge: Camming and shooting porn are very different, but both so much fun! I’ve learned so much during shoots, specifically about lighting and angles, which gave me more confidence, and now my cam shows are more fun than they’ve ever been!

When I am live on cam, I get to interact with my fans, as opposed to when I am shooting and I only interact with the crew and my castmates. To me, it is very intimate to get to interact with my fans, and during a shoot, I totally live the part of the movie.

I feel like a sexy little fairy when I cam live, as well as when I’m shooting for scenes. The difference is that when I’m on live cam, I don’t have lines to follow or a role to play; I am 100% me. But my favorite thing about both mediums is that I get to fulfill fantasies, either my own or my fans.

XBIZ: What is the “Sabina Rouge” brand, in terms of your overall vibe and aesthetic?

Rouge: What you see is what you get! Sabina Rouge is an extension of my authentic self: a true, all-American lesbian woman! I love making my supporters feel cherished and excited, and I must admit that being in lockdown has led me to discover my pansexual side.

I’m more into men now than I’ve ever been in my life! I’m kind of the ultimate pansexual-with-benefits, but of course, I love women the most. I feel sexy when I’m pleasing a woman while also making my fans excited in the process.

XBIZ: How do you market yourself on social media in a way that capitalizes on each platform’s strengths?

Rouge: Social media is part of my daily routine and truly a window into my day-to-day life. Fans get to see previews of my shows and I love to create and share sexy pictures and videos, showing you a cute bit of what to expect when joining me on these platforms.

Since Instagram is more of a safe-for-work platform, I am able show off more of my style and artistic side. I get to talk about my spirituality, my art and anything I find aesthetically pleasing and unique; it can be almost therapeutic for me and, ideally, for my fans.

Twitter allows nudity, which is great for showing off sneak peeks of my more sexualized content. I love showing off my body and my sexuality to my fans, and I feel it’s important for them to get to know me on that level. I’ve actually made a few real connections just talking to my fans!

XBIZ: How do you build the connection with your fans and why are they important to you?

Rouge: I see my fans as my lovers. I love to create the ultimate fantasy for them, and I appreciate how honest and real they are with me. I’m so happy to be able to create beautiful fantasies that excite my lovers and make them feel special.

The reason I see my fans as lovers, is I get to see a side to them that they probably don’t get to show very often; they feel they can be honest and real with me, and I return the favor. I get to hear about their desires, their experiences and their fantasies.

I love making my fans feel safe and special, giving them a space where they can talk freely and openly. It gives me a certain rush to know that I can create a beautiful fantasy that excites my fans the same way it excites me.

XBIZ: During the pandemic, how have you stayed productive, while also taking time for yourself?

Rouge: I stick to a daily routine. I wake up, do my yoga, meditate and then work out. By 9 a.m., I get ready for a day of live performances and content creation.

My spiritual growth has been my number-one priority ever since I was homeless, because I feel the only way I can be a good influence for my fans/supporters is if I make sure to maintain a positive outlook. I hope I can inspire them to be the best versions of themselves, while also watching me grow and evolve alongside them. It’s very important to me that I make sure to make time to create music, as well as read to expand my imagination.

I love to be creative; I get inspired daily with new content/cam show ideas, which help me create new and exciting streams or clips. I love to paint, write poetry and music, as well as produce music. You can say I’m very passionate when it comes to my creative flow and personal growth.

XBIZ: Who are your greatest inspirations and dearest friends in the industry?

Rouge: I love and cherish all the amazing women I’ve been able to know in the industry. To name a few: Dr. Lovejoy, Holly Ruprecht, Holly Randall, Lacy Lennon, Jenna Foxx, Demi Sutra and Mini the Stallion are folks I admire and love. I’m also grateful for my fellow ambassadors at CAM4, such as Charlotte Stokely and Romi Rain and many more.

One example of how much these women inspire me is when I met Dr. Lovejoy for the first time doing an interview for her radio show. The iWantRadio show was so inspiring and opened my mind to so many new aspects of the industry. Dr Lovejoy and I spent time together and not only was she extremely nice and informative, but she made me feel welcome in the fetish community, which opened up a lot of new ideas and inspirations in my camming and shooting.

XBIZ: Tell us where you envision yourself career-wise in the coming year.

Rouge: I’d love to continue to explore the world of sex therapy and life coaching for the mainstream world. Inspiring men and women to embrace their fantasies in a healthy, positive way really excites me, and I would like to explore it as a career path.

I see myself expanding my sexuality on CAM4; I have a ton of new and exciting ideas for my cam shows and I can’t wait to see what makes you all excited and wanting to come back in for more.

I see myself being in the industry for as long as I can, but I also want to become a professional music writer as well. The porn/cam industry helps me with my music because it gives me experience with other people who have gone through similar or different things in life, which helps me make more intimate and real music.

Rouge can be followed on CAM4.com/SabinaRouge; see Linktr.ee/SabinaRouge for her other links.
