The Return of .XXX

In a January 5th release entitled, “ICANN Publishes Revised Proposed Agreement on .XXX,” the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers re-opened the .XXX debate.

I’m not going to rehash the arguments here, pro and con, over the .XXX TLD or the politics of the particular deal being put forth; but if you’re out of the loop, a search of XBIZ.com’s News and Article Archives, as well as our message boards, will offer plenty of perspectives on the subject.

Instead, I will compose and put forth my opinion to ICANN – something that I suggest you all do as well – and let the organization know where I stand on the subject; something that will be far more worthwhile than whining about it on webmaster boards…

You can download the Proposed ICM Registry Agreement for .XXX PDF for current details on the .XXX deal.

There is a Public Comment Forum where you can view comments. If you wish to add your own, send an email to: xxx-icm-agreement@icann.org.

Rebranding Sexual Wellness Through a Self-Care Approach

As most of us in the industry already know, sexual wellness remains the black sheep of self-care. Discussions about wellness glorify meditation apps, skincare routines and workout regimens — but mention masturbation or using a sex toy, and most people shy away from the topic.

Why Sex Toy Innovation Isn't What Shoppers Want Right Now

During my first year in the industry, the luxury vibrator on shelves was LELO’s Gigi, priced at $109. Optimizing Payment Strategies for High Ticket Sales

Payment processing for more expensive items, such as those exceeding $1,000 per order, can create unique challenges. For adult businesses, those challenges are magnified. Increased fraud risk, elevated chargeback ratios and heavier scrutiny from banks and processors are only the beginning.
