Red Light District Video said Thursday it has 300,000 pre-orders for “1 Night in Paris,” an amount that is likely to set a record for the adult industry. At a retail price of $59, the two-disc DVD/VHS-format video could generate $17.7 million in domestic and international sales for the Chatsworth, Calif.-based company.
Red Light District Video has recently acquired the publishing rights to the infamous Paris Hilton/Rick Solomon sex tape. According to a spokesperson for Red Light, a distribution deal was inked with Solomon, the former boyfriend of Hilton and co-star of the tape.
