Twitter's Vine Service Becomes a Hotbed for Porn

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — How long will Vine remain in Apple's App Store?

Just days after Twitter launched its new video service for the iPhone, iPod and iPad, the app has built up an inventory of easily searchable porn scenes — some homespun, some commercial.

But many wonder how long Vine will remain in Apple's App Store, given the company's strict policy over adult content and nudity.

Vine, which plans on bringing the app to additional platforms, positions itself around brevity, and that means six-second looped videos.

"Now that you can easily capture motion and sound, we look forward to seeing what you create," Vine says on its website.

Days after its launch, searches for #porn and #sex, among others,  have brought out a rainbow of  explicit pussy-shot and blow-job scenes.

And just this morning, porn was catapulted to the top of Vine's charts.

An erotic video briefly made Vine's "Editor Pick" list. The clip showed up this morning and was taken down after The Verge spotted and published a story on it.
