Authorities Looking to Prevent Leak of Britney Sister’s Photos

LOS ANGELES — Federal and local authorities are looking for anyone trying to buy or sell stolen photos of Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn, at least one which shows an exposed breast, according to celebrity website TMZ.

Casey Aldridge, the father of 17-year-old Jamie Lynn's daughter Maddie, took his digital camera to a Louisiana Wal-Mart to make 12 prints, and law enforcement told TMZ someone at the store may have “made extra copies and tried selling them.” One of the photos shows Jamie Lynn breast-feeding Maddie.

Buying and selling photos showing Jamie Lynn’s bare breast would be illegal under federal laws because she is a minor. Under the laws, buyers could also be prosecuted for receiving stolen property.

According to reports, Britney's lawyers are considering taking legal action against Wal-Mart. Company representatives said Wal-Mart would investigate, “what, if anything, has happened here.”
