Wicked’s Armstrong Combines Adult, Gaming in ‘Race 2 Race’

LOS ANGELES — Director Brad Armstrong is attempting to bring the worlds of adult film and video games together with his newest release for Wicked, “Race 2 Race.”

The title streets Sept. 17 and will be an interracial offering.

The film’s startup menu allows viewers to scroll through bios and read player descriptions before choosing their character. The film even has a mock-CPU that chooses the character’s partner for each scene, which is voiced by Jessica Drake.

The project is a collaboration between Armstrong and Wicked Pictures head of DVD production Jackie Ramos. According to Armstrong, the storyline is intended to replicate a role-player fighting game.

“It has the look and feel of a video game, very much like Street Fighter,” Armstrong told XBIZ. “It’s a way of making the interracial and the interactive combine. The highlight is definitely the menus and the feel of the game.”

“Race 2 Race” features Armstrong and fellow Wicked contract star Mikayla Mendez as well as Jasmine Byrne, TJ Cummings, Nyomi Banxx, Maya Gates, Tommy Gunn, Amile Waters, Christian X, Dick Delaware, Mia Smiles, Tyler Knight, Marcus London, Victoria Sin, Deep Threat, Tyler Faith, Gianna Lynn and Marco Banderas.

Armstrong said for future releases he’d like to delve even further into the gaming sector. He said that if this title does well he may even shoot a film where every male and female character have sex with one another, allowing the viewer to pick from a multitude of scene combinations.

“If this one does take off, we’re definitely going to make a bigger, badder, better one,” Armstrong said. “There’s a good buzz on it and people really seem interested in that gaming/porno mix.”

For his next title, Armstrong said he may even make more of a sex/violence hybrid.

“I might even hire people who have martial arts experience for the next one and let the viewer decide whether they want to fight or fuck,” he said.

“Race 2 Race” also features a separate game that leads to a bonus scene, a blooper reel, and a "making of" segment. It will be in stores Sept. 17.
