Dedicated Hosting Provider LeaseWeb Expands Network, Support Department

AMSTERDAM — Dedicated hosting service provider LeaseWeb has expanded its network and support department and named four new network engineers.

The new hires responsibilities will cover operational services, which include monitoring the hosting network, providing customers with hosting services and support and sales support.

According to LeaseWeb's managing director Con Zwinkels, the network and support department's expansion is the result of recent growth in the company's international customer base.

“Our network's large bandwidth and the capacity available in our data centers attracts customers from as far away as Spain, Poland, Russia, the U.K. and even the U.S.,” Zwinkels said. “The effect on our worldwide network has led to rapid growth. We need to have more people on standby to provide our 24/7 network management support services in all those time zones.”

LeaseWeb's new network engineers include Dennis Kuik, who will also serve as the company’s assistant team leader, Jottie Tolatzis, Tim Vollebregt and James Higgins.

In addition to its Amsterdam office, LeaseWeb also operates in Brussels, London, Frankfurt, New York, Vienna, Stockholm, Warsaw, Zurich, Prague and Madrid via Internet exchange points.
