"Capturing what happens on set is now an extremely important part of creating and releasing films. People want to be included in the creative process,” said Joone, Digital Playground founder and writer and director of "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge.” “’For 'Pirates II,’ we constantly had cameras snapping photos of the film's scenes. Press and distributors will have some great photos to show off the film. It's pretty easy to see what an amazing atmosphere we had on set."
"It seemed like there were always cameras taking pics of everything," Shay Jordan said. "I loved it. The photos are sweet and we really show what working on 'Pirates II' was like. The sex scenes were the best any of us have been in, so it's nice to have these mementos. I'll definitely have to download some for my scrapbook."
According to Sasha Grey the cameras had plenty of material to capture.
"The atmosphere on the set of 'Pirates II' was very energetic and comedic. Evan Stone was making sock puppets while us girls were mauling at each other endlessly. Even on long days there was an exceptional amount of comradeship, which was a necessity on a large project like this."
”Pirates II” stars Digital Playground's contract girls Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, Katsuni, Stoya, Riley Steele and Gabriella Fox.
The film co-stars BellaDonna, Sasha Grey, Jenna Haze, Brianna Love, Abbey Brooks, Shawna Lenee, Rhylee Richards, Brea Lynn, Shyla Stylez and Veronica Rayne. Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn and Steven St. Croix reprise their roles from the original "Pirates." The film also includes Manuel Ferrara, James Deen, Marco Banderas, Mick Blue, Ben English and Charles Dera.
"Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge" will be released on Sept. 27. The film is produced by Joone and business partner Samantha Lewis.
