Double Click Files $100K Lawsuit Against New Frontier Media

LOS ANGELES — Online marketing firm Double Click Marketing has filed a lawsuit against adult producer and distributor New Frontier Media, claiming the company unlawfully terminated its contract.

Double Click alleged in the complaint that New Frontier owes about $100,000 for the May termination of a contract. The complaint against the publicly traded adult entertainment distributor was filed June 4 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

According to Boulder’s Daily Camera, where New Frontier Media is based, Double Click claimed that New Frontier failed to provide access to a web-server farm, tried to bribe the company and terminated the contract because officials believed New Frontier had a 15-year-old male employee working on its sites.

General counsel for New Frontier Media, Marc Callipari, said the allegations are completely false.

“The accusations from Double Click never happened,” Callipari told XBIZ. “We don’t hire underage people, we never do.”

At press time, New Frontier Media had filed a motion to dismiss the suit.

Calls made to Double Click by XBIZ went unanswered.

New Frontier Media delivers seven full-time transactional adult-themed pay-per-view networks to cable and satellite operators across the U.S., reaching more than 165 million network homes. The company is the exclusive distributor of Penthouse branded adult television in the U.S., owns tens of thousands of hours of digital content and partners with more than 150 movie studios.
