PimpWork.com lets employers post their projects in web programming, design and copywriting, in order for freelancers to compete for the work by bidding. PimpWork has many of the same features as mainstream freelance marketplaces such as Elance and Guru, but focuses exclusively on the adult industry.
Users can create either a “buyer” or “provider” account when joining the site, and then browse the posted projects and registered providers, post projects open for bidding, or bid on projects posted by buyers.
The site itself is free, and memberships are also free for a limited time during the launch period. PimpWork.com does not take a commission on projects, but makes its revenue from ads.
Service providers, or “Hos & Pimps” as they are called at the site, can keep track of their current bids and awarded bids. Providers and buyers may also communicate by private messages to clarify project details beforehand or keep in touch as an awarded job is in process.
PimpWork.com offers users unlimited bids. Users will not have to purchase credits for bidding, and all projects are open to all members.
