XonDemand Upgrades its Datafeeds

CHARLOTTE, NC — XonDemand announced today that it has upgraded its Datafeeds section for its affiliate advertisers, simplifying use of the thousands of movie galleries available for use in promoting the video on demand site.

The Datafeeds can be set to output XML, HTML, and text for a complete ‘dump’ of the XonDemand movie gallery collection. The files contain the movie gallery URLs, product titles, description and image links, which affiliates download into a database.

“You will be able to receive thousands of XonDemand movie galleries in any format you require,” said XonDemand Affiliate Manager Rob Hoover. “It is that simple and it is completely free.”

In order to use XonDemand Datafeeds, affiliates must have the access and ability to create databases on their servers. The data feeds must be uploaded to the affiliate’s server before they can utilize it and display the galleries on their site.

XonDemand Datafeeds eliminate extra clicks, taking surfers directly to the movie they want to watch, thereby improving conversion rates, Hoover said. By showing movies with both the title and description displayed, affiliates can “pre-sell” customers before they leave their site.

Affiliates also have the option of creating a co-branded movie theater, drawing from more than 60,000 new and classic titles, and over 10,000 free movie previews. The movies had been divided into over 130 niches catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.

XonDemand offers a wide range of content from more than 800 adult studios, including Hustler, Danni, Adam & Eve, Red Light District Video, Evil Angel, Digital Sin, New Sensations, Legend, Metro Interactive, Totally Tasteless Video, Bacchus, Filmco, Jake Cruise, Male Media One, and Private.

XonDemand also delivers promotional content via blogs, RSS feeds, pay-per-view theaters, and video consoles — all completely automated with fresh new movies and clips added daily.
