Oscar Winner Diablo Cody on Playboy Radio Today

LOS ANGELES — Playboy Radio will play a never-before-aired interview with screenwriter Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar last night for Best Original Screenplay for the film "Juno."

"Diablo was specifically booked on the station because I had read her book 'Candy Girl' and thought it was a lot of fun," Playboy Radio producer Farrell Hirsch told XBIZ. "I liked her writing style. I thought she'd be a great guest. At that point we didn't know she had a successful screenwriting career — and at that time she didn't."

In the 20-minute interview with Tiffany Granath, Cody talks about her career as a stripper and how that empowered her, tells about some of her strip club experiences, and talks about having completed her first film script.

Speaking of her first time stripping, Cody said, "It was awesome. I was shocked how not intimidating it was. I wasn't scared at all. You get up onstage, you get your tits out and you're looking out at the crowd and they're just mesmerized. They just want to see naked girls." The interview plays today on the “Afternoon Advice” show, hosted by Tiffany Granath, between 1:30-2 p.m. PST. The interview will re-air in the same time slot on Thursday and Saturday.

Playboy Radio airs on channel 198 on Sirius satellite radio, and on the Internet through the Sirius website.
