SugarVOD Expands Services, Picks Contest Winner

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Adult video-on-demand provider SugarVOD has announced plans to expand its video-on-demand services to include new streaming options. Customers will be able to pay a flat fee to view a movie in its entirety by the end of March, a company spokesperson told XBIZ, and download-to-own will be available in April. The site will continue to offer its pay-per-minute VOD service as well.

"We plan to offer VOD in many formats with numerous payment options," SugarVOD CEO Jax said. "Our goal is to provide our video-on-demand customers with as many movie, download, and pricing options as possible."

Studios that have joined SugarVOD since January include Ninn Worx_SR, Harmony Films, Telsev, Herzog Video, Bijou, Helix and FreshSX.

"Our lineup continues to diversify and improve," SugarVOD Content Manager Justin said. "We are proud that these new studios have put their faith in us, and we plan to deliver."

Additionally, the winner of SugarVOD's Pornstar Playoff Party contest was announced. The winner of the brand new 50-inch flat screen TV, selected by random drawing, was adult industry publicist Monstar. After winning the contest, he said, "This is awesome! I never expected to win. The TV looks huge in my living room. Thank you SugarVOD." SugarVOD has another big contest planned for the end of March, the company spokesperson said.
