Hot House Partners With NakedSword for VOD

SAN FRANCISCO — Gay production company Hot House Entertainment and NakedSword.com have announced a deal that will bring the studio’s exclusive content to the video-on-demand provider’s network.

Hot House, founded by renowned director/producer Steven Scarborough, was one of the first studios to sign with NakedSword, which went online in 1997. However, Hot House eventually channeled its resources into DVD production, building the studio’s flagship website from the ground up and developing the Hot House affiliate program.

The deal marks the studio’s return to a broader pay-per-view market.

“We are thrilled to be returning to NakedSword,” Scarborough said. “They were, in fact, our first online partners. We have always had a great experience with NakedSword and their fans, and we think that it is a perfect partnership.

“After 21 years of making films, I think I am creating the best movies I have ever produced,” Scarborough added. “Our four newest exclusive models; Dillon Crow, Johnny Gunn, Ross Hurston, and Kyle King, are tremendous additions to The Men of Hot House.”

NakedSword features content from numerous production companies including Falcon Entertainment, COLT Studio Group, Raging Stallion, Titan Media, Hot House Entertainment, All Worlds Video, Dark Alley Media, Studio 2000, Pitbull Productions, Channel 1 Releasing and more than 100 other studios.

The network also includes several outlets for original content including the “Tim and Roma Show” webcast, as well as sites like GayPornBlog.com and TimandRomaBlog. In January, NakedSword debuted TheSword.com, a satirical-style blog on the gay adult industry at-large.

Exclusive content from Hot House will start broadcasting on NakedSword starting in March, including titles from the studio’s five lines: Hot House Video, Backroom Exclusive Videos, Pack Attack, Club Inferno and Plain Wrapped Video.

“Hot House was one of the first studios on our site, so we’re thrilled to have them back on our team,” NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti said. “Steven’s been a friend of NakedSword’s for years, even when we weren’t doing business together, so this is especially rewarding.”
