De’Nyle’s last on-camera performance was in Platinum X’s “Jewel De’Nyle’s Last Movie” in 2004.
De’Nyle describes her comeback title as having a “vintage pinup fetish” appeal that serves as homage to Bettie Page and “other centerfold queens.”
The movie also features former World Wrestling Entertainment star Shelly Martinez who now wrestles for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the name Salinas.
“Jewel’s created a movie that puts together her love of pinup glamour and fetish play, all shot under her careful direction,” said Paul Marco, president of Platinum Jewel’s distributor, Sinsation. “It’s something a fan of Jewel or Shelly shouldn’t miss.”
Marco said that the movie’s trailer was viewed more than 6,000 times in the two days since it was posted on SinsationPictures.com, and that its first pressing was quickly selling out.
“Turns out a lot of these fans requesting the DVD are from the mainstream market,” Marco said. “They are wrestling fans that have been waiting for a long time for a chance to see Shelly naked and this is their chance. And by what I see, it was worth the wait. She is a knockout with a near perfect body. A perfect 10.”
Marco said that “The Notorious Jewel De’Nyle & Shelly Martinez” is on track to become Sinsations’ fastest-selling title. “This is quite a step for porn,” he added. “Shelly is a high-profile wrestler. I mean, she has a lot of fans outside of porn. They are going to want to see this. It’s another step in the direction of adult and mainstream mixing it up. And Jewel, we all know how she is — she is a crazy, sexy, fun girl that loves fetish. She had a great time filming this. So did Shelly.”
