2nd Annual European Gay Porn Awards Slated for May

BERLIN — The 2nd Annual European Gay Porn Awards (EGPA) has been scheduled to take place on May 17 at the ufaFabrik International Centre in Berlin.

“The awards presented that evening will, as always, be based solely on the votes cast by the general public at our website,” Show Director Mark Cram said. “We look forward to as many people as possible having their say in the final results.”

Voting is open on the show's website from now until April 11.

Cram said that studios, wholesalers and retailers are encouraged to invite their fans and customers to cast votes for this year’s favorites.

The 22 categories represented include Best Solo, Bottom, Top, Duo, Threesome, Group Scene, Bi Sex, Extreme and Cumshot, to name a few. The La Branlette D’Or Award will be presented recognizing overall excellence and contributions to the industry.

There are 28 nominees in the Best Newcomers category including Jet Set’s Jesse Santana, Titan Media’s Dean Flynn, Hot House Media’s Francesco D’Macho, COLT Media Group’s Adam Champ, Lucas Entertainment’s Ben Andrews, Pitbull Productions’ KB and AMG Brasil’s Ricardo Onca, among others.

In the Best Bear Film category, only two candidates square off for honors; Titan Media’s “Folsom Leather” and Alpha Male’s “Out on Parole.”

In the Best Fetish category, Dark Alley Media’s “Gaytanamo,” Titan Media’s “Folsom Leather,” Hot House Media’s “Communion,” PitBull Productions’ “Spread Dat Butta” and AMG Classics wrestling title “Smackdown.”

Show sponsors include pay-per-view provider GayHotMovies.com, gay online retailer HomoActive.com and video-on-demand network Maleflixxx.
