Lucas Entertainment Launches Gay Blog

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Joining ranks with the growing number of adult entertainment websites that are incorporating blogs into their business models, Lucas Entertainment announced the pending launch of LucasBlog.com.

The idea for a more comprehensive blog came from the company's experimental and highly successful launch of a temporary blog to accompany the making of "Michael Lucas' Dangerous Liaisons."

"If you've always wanted to know what it's like to work at an adult company, this is it," Lucas said. "No other company out there has a blog unveiling the kinds of behind-the-scenes content we will. I want people to see the sexy, glamorous side to this business, but also how much committed effort and hard work goes into it."

The blog will feature daily updates on the goings-on at Lucas Entertainment in addition to letters received by Lucas himself, which the site's writer, Bryan Christopher, said are too hardcore to post anywhere else.

On an ongoing basis, the blog also will stream live pre-taped celebrity interviews conducted by Lucas with subjects like Boy George, RuPaul, Graham Norton, Michael Musto, Bruce Vilanch and The Lady Bunny.

Calling Lucas the "X-rated Oprah," Christopher said that Lucas' celebrity interviews will also feature gay adult stars over time. The site also will feature profiles on adult models and diary entries from the company's sassy "Auditions" series.

LucasBlog.com goes live on Monday, May 16, at midnight EST.
