AdultVest’s Francis Koenig Interviewed on CNBC

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — AdultVest‘s Francis Koenig revealed on CNBC Friday that the investment firm is on the verge of announcing four major acquisitions involving adult companies.

Koenig was interviewed for CNBC’s "Squawk on the Street" and "Closing Bell" on the firm’s mission, which pairs profitable mid-sized companies with accredited investors through two funds, the Bacchus fund with a minimum $1 million investment, and the Priapus fund with a $100,000 minimum investment.

The company also has in the pipeline some mergers, acquisitions and capital introduction, with the goal of taking majority stakes. In a few cases, Koenig said, some companies might be going public.

Late Friday, Koenig told XBIZ that CNBC interviewed five other investment pros for the 2-minute segments. “It focused primarily on our fund and how to bring on the adult companies.”

In the CNBC interview, Koenig said hundreds of companies and thousands of investors have registered with the two-year-old firm and that there's a deal in the works with the publisher of Jenna Jameson's upcoming erotic audio book.

He also said there's a partnership with Michael J. Peter of MJ Peter & Associates, who is credited with creating the gentlemen's club concept.

And just this week Koenig announced that AdultVest will offer adult companies the opportunity to use its online investor-matchmaking services free of charge in its beta phase of its website.

"There are other big markets out there I could've taken on, but there's no competition here," Koenig said. "So there are no other financial institutions doing what we do. We're the first."
