ZEUS Studios, Maleflixxx Make Exclusive VOD Deal

TORONTO — Gay production company ZEUS Studios has struck an exclusive deal with video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx for distribution of the studio’s catalog on Maleflixxx’s pay-per-view networks. Users also will be able to access a new VOD theater at the ZeusStudios.com site.

“When Maleflixxx looks into the industry to expand our family of studio partners, we are always looking for unique brands with an underlying strength we can build upon,” President of Sureflix Digital Distribution Eric Johnson said. Sureflix owns and operates the Maleflixxx network. “ZEUS Studios is one of those brands.”

“Their longevity and unique content bring a new richness to our library, and Ron Sexton has been a longstanding partner. My team looks forward to continuing our relationship with Ron,” Johnson said.

Founded more than 25 years ago by Jim Hawkins and Daddy Zeus, the company is currently managed by executive producer Sexton. Specializing in BDSM, leather, vintage, muscle and fetish, ZEUS Studios has an extensive library with many titles featuring European performers, former International Mister Leather titleholders, as well as titleholders from many regional leather competitions.

“ZEUS Studios is one of the oldest and most respected producers of safe, sane and consensual B&D performance art videos in the gay adult industry. Our library includes hundreds of titles produced over the past 25 years,” Sexton said. “This studio is a very important part of our family of brands and our legacy in the industry.”

In particular, Sexton said he hopes to promote various ZEUS imprints including the Can-Am line and several other of the studio’s series.
