Sponsor Search Engine ReferralMatrix.com Launches

NEW ORLEANS, La. — Innovative Assets Inc. this week announced the launch of ReferralMatrix.com, a searchable database of information on various adult affiliate programs and their individual sites and services.

Designed to aid webmasters in finding sponsor programs that fit their needs, ReferralMatrix.com can be queried based on a wide variety of criterion. For example, webmasters can use the site to find specifically programs that use the NATS affiliate tracking program, and programs that pay by ePassporte, as well as search based on niche content types or marketing materials made available to affiliates.

Innovative Assets’ founder Will76 told XBIZ that he hopes to significantly expand the number of affiliate programs in the ReferralMatrix.com portfolio in the months to come.

“Ideally I would like to add as many sponsors as possible so I can enable the users of the site to literally find anything they are looking for,” Will said. “As of right now we have about 100 sponsors included in the Matrix, and I hope to have 500 by the end of the year, with 99 percent of all sponsors included by the end of next year.”

One possible limitation to that goal is that Will has been a vocal critic of some affiliate programs, most notably those that purchase traffic from adware companies like Zango, torrent sites, and other controversial traffic sources.

Asked about the possibility that he may leave some programs off the list due to his concerns about their business and marketing practices, Will told XBIZ that this was a issue that he had wrestled with.

“While I want to provide a complete site with as much data as possible for users to search, at the same time I just cannot bring myself to be associated with companies that continually steal from me,” Will said. “To be honest, a few companies in particular could offer me $100,000 to be listed on my site and I would turn them down.”

Will added that the dilemma he faced was “trying to provide a complete service to my users, vs. my own feelings in regards to these companies and how they are stealing from me.”

“My personal feelings won out,” Will said. “There won’t be a lot of sites blacklisted but there are a couple that you will never see listed there.”

Will said that he has a lot of plans for ReferralMatrix.Com, including a feature similar to that found on “digg” sites.

“The site will be a great place for webmasters to post articles about themselves, their company, their blog posts, etc., and get free traffic and exposure,” Will said. “When it is all said and done I would like the site to be a ‘one stop shop’ where people go for news, to find a new sponsor, to buy or sell a domain name, to hire a programmer, to post their job application, to learn, to find better promotional materials and to post announcements about their company.”
