Factory Video Launches VOD Theatre With Maleflixxx

TORONTO — Gay production company Factory Video has announced the launch of its new video-on-demand theater in partnership with VOD network provider Maleflixxx .

“Factory Video was one of the earliest adopters of the Maleflixxx network,” said Eric Johnson, President of Sureflix Digital Distribution, owners and operators of the Maleflixxx global network. “At a very early stage, they gave us their content and worked with us to bring it to a global audience.”

Johnson said also that Factory Video content has been consistently popular with Maleflixxx network users.

“Their constant introduction of fresh, young faces and broad subject matter make their content an important part of our network,” Johnson said.

Factory Video describes itself as one of the first gay production companies to shoot content for the web, and has several imprints under the Factory Video umbrella, including Pumphouse Media, Blue Alley Studio, Threshold Media, Street Trade Studios, Slippery Palms Productions, Time Warp to the ‘80s and Working Girl Video.

According to Factory Video business development executive Jeff Rosenberg, opening a VOD theater is the next logical step in the company’s long partnership with Maleflixxx.

“Maleflixxx has the capabilities to provide our customers with more choices in how they view our content,” Rosenberg told XBIZ. “Today’s market is driven by the consumer and we are committed to forming strategic alliances with companies that show their commitment to our product and the consumer experience.”

The new Factory Video Theatre also will feature content from other studios in the Maleflixxx network including Hot House, Kristen Bjorn, Titan, Bel Ami, Studio 2000, Blue Blake, Rascal, Jet Set, High Octane, Can-Am, Mark Wolff, Pacific Sun and more.
