TwistyCash Buys Thumbzilla.com

BAHAMAS – Affiliate site TwistyCash announced Friday that it has purchased veteran thumbnail gallery post site Thumbzilla.com.

Ranked the 11th TGP in the adult industry, Thumbzilla has been online since 1999 and gets an average of 390,000 unique visitors per day, according to Shap, owner of TwistyCash and paysites Twistys, BigBreastLovers, Sexape, PicWarehouse.

Shap added that the deal with Thumbzilla's owner – who goes by the name of Zilla – was extremely amicable and was finalized just before the Christmas holiday.

"One of the reasons we made the move is we try to do the best for our affiliates and adding Thumbzilla is a chance for our webmasters to make more money with us," Shap, an 8-year industry veteran, told XBiz.

Although Zilla was unavailable for comment at deadline, Shap told XBiz that Zilla is planning to return to his early career as an actor and might even start his own theater company.

"While he was concerned for the vision of his site, he couldn't wait to get everything moving forward," Shap said. "We talked more about him getting back to his art than we did the deal."

Both Shap and Zilla have been friends for several years.

Shap added that he plans to maintain Thumbzilla as it currently is with only minor improvements.

"But we really don't want to rock the boat," he said, noting that in the coming months TwistyCash plans to add five or six new sites.

In a post on popular message board GFY.com, Zilla wrote: "Thanks, Shap. I am sure you will take good care of my baby. Hey, otherwise I would not have sold it to you! Folks, Thumbzilla will be even bigger and better than ever in 2005 and it is in good hands! I hope all of you had a great Christmas, and I hope you have a wonderful New Year."

Shap has invited any webmasters with questions regarding a previous deal with Thumbzilla to contact him at Shap@twistys.com.
