Vivid Entertainment announced this week that the porn tell-all, as seen through the eyes of Tawny Roberts, Mercedez, Sunrise Adams and Savanna Samson, will be published through Blue Moon Books, an imprint of New York-based Avalon Publishing Group. The books will also include material from adult movies the girls have appeared in.
Steve Hirsch, Vivid's co-founder and co-chairman, described the project as moving the Vivid brand into new markets.
The terms of the publishing agreement include four books, averaging 200 pages each. A publishing date is scheduled for sometime in the fall of 2005, Vivid stated.
Vivid's newest publishing venture comes on the heels of the release of "How to Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide," which was published by ReganBooks in July.
Vivid has also been working with Avatar Press to release a Vivid comic book series.
"All of us at Blue Moon Books are thrilled to begin what we hope will be a long and fruitful relationship with Vivid Entertainment," said John Oakes, publisher of Blue Moon. “Our goal is to make sure the novels appeal to the girls’ existing fan base and to reach out to a new segment of readers who enjoy well-written, exciting, modern erotic novels."
