LOS ANGELES — MelRose Michaels of SexWorkCEO and SWR Data has been nominated for Creator Businessperson of the Year at the 2027 XBIZ Exec Awards.
“I started SexWorkCEO to give creators the business education I had to figure out on my own, and we launched SWR Data so the industry could finally see creators’ work in real numbers,” said Michaels. “Both come from the same belief that creators are business owners. I’m proud to be building SWR Data with Mike Stabile, who is also nominated this year. I’m so grateful to the XBIZ community for this nomination, because it’s an honor just to be nominated. If creators are moved to vote for me, it would mean the world. More than that, I think it would show the industry that creators are serious businesspeople who deserve respect for the work we do.”
