SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword publishing house FalconINK has released a prequel novella to the studio's political thriller feature "Eat the Rich," titled "First Taste."
Written by Ben Rush, the novella follows the movie's protagonist, Jayden Marcos, early in his career, where he "must reconcile with his traumatic past before he can confront the political hypocrisy of the present," the synopsis reveals.
Rush elaborated on the plot.
"At its heart, 'Eat the Rich: First Taste' is about Jayden deciding he’s not going to let other people define him anymore," he said. "He’s been betrayed, he’s angry, and he’s looking at a political landscape full of hypocrisy. He wants to figure out what he’s going to do about it. That’s really where the Jayden we meet in 'Eat the Rich' begins."
The novella has also been released as an audiobook, with Marcos providing narration.
