Mx. Pineapple Mental Health Fundraiser Returns to Palm Springs

SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword and Mr. Man will present the sixth annual Mx. Pineapple Cabaret in Palm Springs, California, continuing its mission to support mental health services for adult performers.

The show will be held Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. (PDT) at Oscar’s Palm Springs, a local LGBTQ+ venue that regularly hosts drag, cabaret, and comedy events. 

Hosted by Falcon/NakedSword Creative Director Sister Roma and Ana Foxxx, the event will feature DJ Chi Chi LaRue and a talent lineup headlined by Broadway and “America’s Got Talent” singer Brian Justin Crum. The event will also feature performances from Mx. Pineapple 2022, Gemini Dai (aka Dakota Payne), and Palm Springs drag queens Ethylina Canne, Vanity Halston, and Pippi Lovestocking.

Additionally, Mr. Man has signed on as a Co-Presenting Sponsor and helped raise money for the necessary services provided by Pineapple Support — an organization with over 70% of its clients identifying as LGBTQ+. According to a rep, 100% of the net proceeds from the cabaret will be donated to Pineapple Support. Since its founding in 2018, Pineapple Support has become one of the adult industry’s most relied-upon resources for mental health care, offering 24/7 access to therapists, support groups, crisis resources, and trauma-informed counseling.
