Mx. Pineapple Mental Health Fundraiser Returns to Palm Springs

SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword and Mr. Man will present the sixth annual Mx. Pineapple Cabaret in Palm Springs, California, benefiting mental health services for adult performers.

The show will be held Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. (PDT) at Oscar’s Palm Springs, a local LGBTQ+ venue that regularly hosts drag, cabaret, and comedy events.

Hosted by Falcon/NakedSword Creative Director Sister Roma and Ana Foxxx, the event will feature DJ Chi Chi LaRue and a talent lineup headlined by Broadway and “America’s Got Talent” singer Brian Justin Crum. The event will also feature performances from Mx. Pineapple 2022, Gemini Dai (aka Dakota Payne), and Palm Springs drag queens Ethylina Canne, Vanity Halston, and Pippi Lovestocking.

“The Mx. Pineapple Cabaret is an event we look forward to every year because it’s one of the happiest and most uplifting nights for our community,” said Falcon/NakedSword President and CEO Tim Valenti. “What makes it especially unique is the way it brings both the straight and LGBTQ+ sides of the adult industry together for a fabulous night of celebration and support for a cause that truly matters. PineappleSupport.org does invaluable mental health work for those in our business, and I’m proud to help raise awareness and funds for all they do.”

Additionally, Mr. Man has signed on as a co-presenting sponsor to help raise funds for Pineapple Support, whose clients are more than 70% LGBTQ+. The event’s Platinum Sponsors include Gilead, Streammate, Flirt4Free, ASGMax, StockBar, AEBN, along with Gold Sponsors DAP Health, JustForFans, Clips4Sale, BelAmi, CockyBoys, Randy Blue, GayVN, Grooby, Popstar, and XBIZ.

According to a rep, 100% of the net proceeds from the cabaret will be donated to Pineapple Support.

Pineapple Support founder and CEO Leya Tanit enthused about this year’s event.

“Six years of Mx. Pineapple is an incredible milestone, and I’m so grateful to Tim, the entire Falcon/NakedSword team, and every sponsor, performer, and person who continues to make this event possible,” said Tanit. “This isn’t just an amazing night of entertainment; the funds raised translate directly into mental health support for people in our industry when they need it most. There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing our community come together, have an outrageous amount of fun, and at the same time make sure that nobody has to struggle alone. I’m enormously proud of what the team has built together, and I cannot wait to be back in Palm Springs for another unforgettable night.”
