CHICAGO — Pineapple Support has received a $20,000 donation from Steamworks Baths Chicago, one of the city's most beloved LGBTQ+ venues, as part of the brand's 50th anniversary celebration.
The donation comes through Steamworks' annual summer VIP/Black Card fundraiser, which calls for 10% of every VIP/Black Card sold each summer to go to a charitable organization. For their 50th year, Steamworks chose Pineapple Support — a testament to the organization's longstanding commitment to causes that matter to the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.
"Providing mental health services to the online adult entertainment industry is so important, and we're honored to support your efforts with this donation," says Nirmalpal, GM of Steamworks Baths Chicago. "As we celebrate 50 years in business, giving back to our community remains at the heart of everything we do, and Pineapple Support is doing truly amazing work for so many people in need."
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit expressed her gratitude for the donation.
"We are deeply moved by the generosity of Steamworks Baths and by the thoughtfulness behind this gift," she said. "To be chosen as their 50th anniversary recipient, alongside such a meaningful history of giving, is truly humbling. This donation will go directly toward ensuring that more people in our community can access the mental health support they deserve. We are so grateful."
