COMMERCE, Calif. — SexBlanket is launching the Plush Faux Fur Sex Blanket, the newest addition to its line of three-layer waterproof blankets.
The blanket avoids the problem that waterproof bedding often presents with its thick, long-pile faux fur, under which lies an absorbent pile face, a silent TPU membrane sewn between fabric layers, and a flannel back that keeps the blanket from sliding. The membrane blocks liquid completely without the plastic feel or the crinkle that gives most waterproof throws away.
“Nobody unwraps a practical purchase and gasps,” said Jamie Cole of SexBlanket. “We wanted the version you could actually give someone — where the waterproof layer is the part nobody ever notices.”
The Plush ships in Ivory, Blush Pink, Taupe and Ombre Grey, and it's available in three sizes — Medium (39 x 57 in), Large (57 x 65 in), and XL (57 x 85 in), the latter of which drapes across the top of a queen bed. All sizes are machine washable, and pricing typically runs from $64.99 to $94.99.
