Holly Randall's Wet Ink Magazine Highlights 'Livestreaming' Trends

LOS ANGELES — Holly Randall’s Wet Ink Magazine has published an article highlighting the advantages of livestreaming for creators.

Titled “Why Live Streaming is Outperforming Fan Platforms,” the article examines SWR Data survey results and addresses the fact that many creators rely on social media to drive fans to subscription pages, while cam platforms bring audiences directly to performers, giving live streamers more insulation from algorithm changes, account bans, age-verification disruptions and payment instability. Additionally, the article notes that Stripchat was the fastest-growing cam platform in the survey, with its share of streaming creators jumping by more than half in a single year.

“These are the kinds of conversations I want to have because they actually matter to the people working in this industry right now,” Randall said. “Creators are making business decisions in a really unstable environment, and Wet Ink gives us a place to look at what is changing, what is working and what information can actually help people adapt.”
