MUMBAI, India – In a recent podcast recorded for iDiva, India’s largest women’s lifestyle network, Dr. Tanaya Narendra (aka Dr. Cuterus) sat down with IMBesharam CEO Raj Armani to discuss sex toys, among other sexual wellness topics.
Aiming to normalize sex toys as part of everyday wellness, Armani explained his brand's mission of "Play More, Shame Less" and highlighted how IMBesharam is built to normalize pleasure and break cultural silence around sexuality.
Armani noted that while IMBesharam sells more toys in the four weeks before Valentine’s Day than in the two months that follow it, Singles Day (Nov. 11) is emerging as a major retail day in India, mirroring its status in China and Japan.
He also shared insights into the rapidly growing Indian market for adult products, noting that globally, the sex toy market doubles every six years, while in India, it has doubled every 7–8 months since 2020.
“India is not just waking up. India is sprinting ahead,” said Armani.
