LOS ANGELES — Adult industry market research outfit SWR Data has announced that it will release data from its annual State of the Creator survey at an XBIZ LA workshop, taking place at the Kimpton Everly Hotel.
The workshop, “By the Numbers: A Data-Driven Look at the Creator Economy,” will reveal the findings of SWR’s fall 2025 survey of over 550 adult creators and provide data on how the creator economy is changing. Insights include demographics, industry sector growth, income and revenue trends, business challenges and strategies, and platform usage and sentiment.
“This is the most in-depth research yet on creators and the creator economy,” said SWR Data co-founder MelRose Michaels. “We’re seeing critical trends emerge in how creators are earning money and what’s driving them when choosing partners and platforms. We’re so thankful for the creators who participated and for the sponsors who helped us use the survey to raise money for organizations in need.”
Additionally, according to a rep, this year’s State of the Creator survey raised over $8,000 for non-profits serving sex workers, due to Chaturbate and Stripchat contributions, which matched SWR’s own donations. Each completed survey generated $15 for non-profits including Free Speech Coalition, Pineapple Support, SWOP, SWAID, BIPOC Collective, and Red Canary Song.
The XBIZ LA workshop will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. (PST), in the Graham Boardroom.
