LOS ANGELES — Siri Dahl and her fellow event producers of Corn Telethon are celebrating the success of the event, raising more than $16,000 for Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) L.A. and Sex Workers Mutual Aid (SWAID) Las Vegas.
Produced and organized by Mistress of Ceremonies Dahl and mainstream podcast producers Alex Steed and Madelynn Britt, co-hosts included Noelle Purdue, Zariah Aura, Nicky Zeal, Codi Vore, and Ryan Keely. According to a rep, in addition to the 12-hour livestream’s entertainment programming, the hosts discussed the threats Project 2025 poses to the adult industry and creative expression in general.
“I'm so proud of what we achieved with this year's Corn Telethon,” said Dahl. “Not only did we raise a ton of money for Sex Worker Mutual Aid, but there was a real sense of community among the 75-or-so people who were involved in this production. It means a lot to foster that kind of solidarity, especially when people from so many segments of the entertainment industry show up to support free speech and sex workers' rights.
“I'm so deeply grateful for the hard work and dedication put in by our whole team,” Dahl added. “I can't wait to do it all again, bigger and better, next year.”
