Sportsheets Joins FSC as Gold Member

LOS ANGELES — Sportsheets has joined Free Speech Coalition (FSC) as a Gold-level member.

"Sportsheets’ membership contributes to FSC’s global fight against censorship of adult content and discrimination against adult businesses," said a rep.

Added Sportsheets Executive VP Kelly Sofferman, “In this political climate, it’s more important than ever to defend free speech, bodily autonomy, and the right to pleasure. There’s a growing wave of legislation targeting not only our industry, but also the fundamental rights of at-risk communities — trans people, sex workers, educators and anyone pushing back against shame and censorship. FSC has always been on the front lines of these fights, and their work gives me hope.”

FSC has mounted legal challenges, in several states and at the federal level, to legislation it deems unconstitutional.

“We’re grateful for members like Sportsheets, who not only support our work but share our values,” said FSC Executive Director Alison Boden. “Sexual wellness and sexual speech are under attack across the country, and Sportsheets’ ongoing commitment to FSC will help us fight back more effectively in more places. The more unified we are as an industry, the better we can defend our industry’s rights.”
