Aylo, Cupcake Girls Partner for Trafficking Prevention Safety Video Series

MONTREAL — Aylo has teamed up with sex worker support organization Cupcake Girls to create a safety video series aimed at educating performers and creators on preventing trafficking and exploitation.

The series, titled "Safety Training With the Cupcake Girls," offers "expert guidance on security, risk prevention, and industry best practices," said a rep. "This marks the first partnership between an adult company and an anti-trafficking organization focused on preventing trafficking and enhancing safety for creators both online and offline."

The first video, "How To Safely Shoot Your Own Content," is presented by Cherie DeVille and provides guidance on safety protocols, STI testing, consent practices, and digital security.

The second video, "Tips for Working With Talent Agencies," is presented by Sofia Rose and explores self-representation versus agency management, and offers advice for vetting agencies and how to advocate for fair treatment.

"At Aylo, trust and safety is at the core of everything we do," said Pornhub VP of Brand and Community Alex Kekesi. "The Cupcake Girls have built a remarkable legacy of advocacy and harm reduction, and this partnership strengthens our shared commitment to sex workers' well-being. As the industry evolves, partnerships like these are essential — a lifeline for empowering performers, promoting informed decision-making, and ensuring their safety."

Added Cupcake Girls Co-Executive Director Amy-Marie Merrell, "Since 2018, when FOSTA-SESTA passed, it has continued endangering lives, creating an urgent ongoing need for real support and resources. Performers deserve the tools to make informed decisions about their work, and this series speaks directly to the concerns we hear from the community. Partnering with Aylo on this initiative allows us to expand access to critical information and reinforce our commitment to the well-being of sex workers."

The first two episodes are streaming on Cupcake Girls' YouTube channel.
