Braindance Unveils '6DOF' VR Tech

LOS ANGELES — Interactive virtual reality platform Braindance has debuted its new Six Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) VR technology.

"Utilizing a sophisticated rig of 165 cameras, the platform captures photorealistic depictions of the models, enhanced with Gaussian Splatting and a custom-built AI algorithm," said a rep. "This technology brings to life not just 3D models, but life-like recreations of the stars, allowing users to move around and interact with them in a fully immersive virtual space."

The site currently features performers Sola Zola and Sia Siberia in several scenes spanning various genres, including cyberpunk and yoga classes, among others.

"Before Braindance, I never watched adult content," said Braindance CMO Paulina. "I relied on my imagination. But now, experiencing this immersive format has completely changed my perspective. Our technical team has done an exceptional job combining advanced tech with compelling content — it's like a platform created by nerds for nerds."

Added Zola, "I’ve never had so many cameras on me all at once. When I saw the final scenes, it felt like I was watching myself in real-time. It's incredible to be the first person to experience this kind of immersive VR."

The first collection of static scenes is streaming on BraindanceVR.com.
