SexLikeReal Reports 'Major' Shift Toward Haptic Toys, VR Integration

LOS ANGELES — SexLikeReal (SLR) has released data indicating significant growth in the number of users who interact with its content using haptic sex toys.

SLR, a rep explained, has focused on “creating highly accurate scripts that sync the video action with haptic sex toys such as The Handy or Kiiroo Onyx+, connecting the visual with the physical for truly immersive results. Over the past year, SLR has concentrated on scripts for every one of the many thousands of scenes on its platform, covering straight, gay and trans content. This has led to a notable shift in how our users interact with the site.”

According to SLR data, the number of users streaming scripts has increased by 42% since the start of the year, with the number of users with haptic sex toys doubling compared to the previous year.

The rep called those numbers “an astronomical rise that shows no sign of slowing.”

In 2024, nearly half of all SLR users owned a haptic sex toy, and for the first time, the average view time of VR porn with a haptic sex toy overtook view time without a haptic device.

“In other words, once you go haptic, you rarely go back,” the rep concluded. “It’s clear that combining VR porn with interactive sex toys is reshaping the porn industry. When someone tries it, they rarely go back to non-haptic porn. The answer is simple: it’s just that effective. No other form of porn feels quite as immersive and realistic as VR porn paired with an interactive sex toy. For the first time since porn was invented, porn consumption is becoming active rather than passive. “

Other numbers provided by SLR suggest that users with haptic devices stay longer on the site, an average of 14.2 minutes per session, compared to an average of 5.2 minutes for other users.
