BANGKOK — The Asia Amazing Cultural Festival (AACF) and Asia Entertainment Expo (AEE), featuring 15 top Japanese adult video (AV) performers, will be held at the Impact Arena Exhibition and Convention Centre near Bangkok, Thailand from Nov. 22-24.
The expo will be organized by AACF International Exhibition.
The objective of the expo, a rep said, is to create a communication platform for the adult entertainment industry and promote its development in Asia.
Multiple entertainment products and services, both online and offline, from 200 exhibitors around the world will be presented at the AACF/AEE.
The event also allows AV fans to meet their favorite stars up close for autographs and “sincere blessings from each actress,” the rep said. The AV performers will also perform a daily cosplay show around themes such as classroom, hospital and prison.
A bonus package called the Love Trip Limited Edition Blind Box will allow fans “closer interaction” with the AV performers.
“The rewards could include a confession of love from the AV stars, a hot date with them or a visit to a simulated AV shooting scene,” the rep said.
Thailand has blocked adult sites such as Pornhub and has strict censorship laws, although Bangkok is home to several red-light districts that exist in a gray area, tolerated at the discretion of the authorities.
As XBIZ reported earlier this month, the most recent legislative attempt to legalize adult entertainment and sex toys in Thailand failed to clear its first reading in the lower chamber of Parliament.
Bangkok MP Phantin Nuamjerm noted at the time that adult content “is already widespread” and should therefore be legalized so that it can be better regulated.
