YouPay, Layers Accountancy Partner to Offer Financial Advice to UK Creators

BRISBANE, Australia — Gifting platform YouPay has partnered with accounting firm Layers Accountancy to offer U.K.-based creators financial and tax advice to operate their businesses successfully.

Under the partnership arrangement, qualifying YouPay users will have access to Layers’ suite of finance and tax solutions at a discounted price.

U.K.-based Layers Accountancy was founded in 2023 by Adam Ginns and Joshua Ridler to provide solutions that support the specific needs of creators.

YouPay is focused on leveraging its professional standing in the creator economy to attract creator-supportive partnerships, a rep explained.

CEO and Founder Matt Holme said, “YouPay has seen first-hand the need for creators to have access to the right levels of advice in managing their personal brand as a business and ensuring they operate compliantly and tax effectively. We want our users and the broader creator economy to have access to professional advice and support from enterprises and platforms that are fully supportive of creators.”

Layers' Ginns added that after working with a number of creators in previous firms, it became clear to them that creators needed a dedicated service that understood their needs and the issues faced with finding banking solutions in the U.K.

“We saw the same scenario way too often,” he commented. “Creators were unable to access important financial and tax advice through mainstream accounting firms so we decided to carve out a niche to support creators as we get the struggles they face when it comes to finances and business.”

His partner Ridler added, “We’re excited to align ourselves with the team at YouPay and support their approach to bringing the best solutions to their creator community. A number of our clients are YouPay users so we’re very familiar with the opportunities YouPay is providing creators.”
