XBIZ Retreat Miami Edition Set for May 13-18

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that the upcoming annual summer edition of XBIZ Retreat is set for May 13-18, returning to the beachfront Grand Miami Beach Hotel for the latest installment of the exclusive B2B retail event.

Offering a fresh slate of one-on-one meetings, networking and relationship-building events, the Miami edition of XBIZ Retreat has grown steadily in popularity, last year drawing its biggest attendance to date as nearly 200 curated participants flocked to the event.

“The overwhelmingly positive reception for XBIZ Retreat Miami serves as a testament to this event’s distinct significance in the pleasure industry,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “We’re pleased that participating companies large and small trust that XBIZ Retreat consistently delivers the optimal format for conducting business, expands their community reach and fosters collective success. We are delighted to greet both new and returning attendees for yet another memorable edition.”

The upcoming edition follows January’s inaugural Vibe Expo, which featured signature components of XBIZ Retreat. The hybrid B2B/B2C event, which took place in Hollywood and included the annual XBIZ Honors awards ceremony, drew broad praise from attendees.

“As an emerging brand, being a part of  Vibe Expo and the XBIZ Honors awards was hugely beneficial to us,” CockBlock Toys’ Justin Depow said.

Kathryn Guy of TAF Distributing added, “I loved the one-on-one meetings because I  got a good amount of quality time with the vendors I work with.”

Bonner Trading’s Ian Kulp said, “XBIZ Retreat’s intimate format creates the perfect environment for supporting our existing client base, while also facilitating meaningful connections to secure new partnerships.”

Last year’s summer edition of XBIZ Retreat also garnered many rave reviews.

“This was the best retreat for us yet, due to the buyers that attended,” said Nexus Managing Director Monique Carty. “As a U.K. brand, it’s really important for us to showcase our range to those who might not have seen it before.”

JO Regional Manager Timothy Ferencz was impressed by his experience, which marked the first time JO attended the event on the East Coast.

“Each and every meeting was productive for us,” he said. “We strengthened relationships, built our customers’ business and had a few drinks along the way. The speed intro session was a nice icebreaker, which gave new attendees a chance to introduce themselves to the group as a whole. The special events portion of XBIZ Retreat is always a nice break from the packed meeting schedule. It’s a great way to get to know your customers on a more personal level and not talk about business — which is actually a great way to grow your business. JO will be back at all the XBIZ Retreats in 2024!”

Melody Cazarin noted that Satisfyer benefited from the opportunity to connect with customers with whom it doesn’t directly work with.

“As a manufacturer, it is difficult to connect with the smaller brick-and-mortars,” she shared. “However, XBIZ made this possible for us. We are now implementing new sales and marketing initiatives because of it.”

Ayla Cruz of Risque Moments was happy to take away new connections and ideas from the event.

“Many of the vendors were just ‘emails’ to me prior to the event,” she said. “I enjoyed the chance to put a face and personality to the emails and products that I see and deal with on a daily basis. I learned so many new things about upcoming, new or existing products that I can take back to my employees and help boost sales for everyone. I loved the opportunity to sit down and discuss issues and have the genuine feeling of being heard and creating an opportunity to build up the industry even further. I am so excited to see how all these relationships blossom in the future.”
