Kenna James, Lexington Steele Co-Star in Penultimate Installment of Seth Gamble's 'Reckless'

LOS ANGELES — Kenna James and Lexington Steele topline the seventh and next-to-last installment of Seth Gamble's "Reckless," titled "What’s Up With This Sudden Interest?"

The eight-episode series is written and directed by twice-crowned and reigning XBIZ Male Performer of the Year Gamble, who also plays the lead role of Silas Knight.

"What’s Up With This Sudden Interest?" explores the uneasy union between Knight’s former associate and rival, Brooke Michaels (James) and corrupt detective Matteo Bennett (Steele).

Amidst the rising tensions, Knight also finds himself ensnared in a confrontation with psychotic Dr. Joseph Curwen — a role reprised by Tommy Pistol, who debuted the character in Gamble's 2022 opus “Deranged.”

Gamble praised James' performance, enthusing, "Every time I watch her work, it’s clear to see why Kenna’s become the superstar she is today. She brings incredible focus and professionalism to every aspect of her performance; you can count on her coming to set impeccably prepared. But even her most ardent fans are going to be blown away by what she brings to ‘Reckless.’

"I can say the same thing about the legendary Lexington Steele," he added. "His acting talents have remained a hidden treasure in our industry."

For Steele, the project marks the end of a three-year hiatus.

"It was rewarding to know my return would include being directed by Seth," the performer said. "He's an insightful director, and I wanted to be at my best. My scene with Kenna may be the scene of the year."

“What’s Up With This Sudden Interest?” premieres today exclusively on Wicked.com.
