Voiyal Shuts Its Doors

Voiyal Shuts Its Doors

BERLIN — Voiyal, a German audio startup for monetizing intimate voice messages, has closed its doors due to a lack of new investments.

Company founders Pauline Schmiechen and Florian Pontalti issued the following statement:

We are incredibly sad to see our dream end early like this. We gave our hearts to build this platform as a creator-first safe space to explore the beauty of intimate audio. Facing the stigma of our marginalized industry and the collapse of major institutions we tried our best to secure another funding to bring Voiyal to the next level. Now we have to close our doors as surely not the first underfunded startup in our industry but hopefully, as one of the last. With this clear decision, we also want to protect our creators from further uncertainty in already volatile times. Thank you to all our visionary creators, users and people who believed in us nevertheless until the last day. Hope to see you again soon!
