TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating as a homicide the death of William Futral, owner of gay paysite TheGuySite.com.
Tampa PD released a statement about the investigation without naming the victim, but sources close to Futral confirmed his identity to XBIZ.
Futral’s body was found May 1 at the Beck Apartments in Tampa by a maintenance worker, according to the statement. The autopsy revealed he died as a result of upper body trauma.
Tampa PD believes the killing was “a targeted attack.”
