Pineapple Support Launches Campaign for Giving Tuesday

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is holding a fundraising campaign today to mark Giving Tuesday, with the goal of raising $10,000 in donations from members of the adult industry.

The non-profit organization, which provides mental health services to adult performers, is also encouraging content creators to host their own fundraising events, such as charity cam shows.

"For Giving Tuesday 2022, we're calling on the adult industry to help Pineapple Support reach our goal of raising $10,000, helping us to continue providing mental health and emotional support resources to those in our community," said Pineapple Support founder and CEO Leya Tanit. "We want to encourage content creators to host their own charity cam shows and other fundraising events — and we would love your support in spreading the word."

Founded in 2018 by Tanit, Pineapple Support has connected over 8,000 adult performers and industry members to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling and emotional support.

"Giving Tuesday reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity," Tanit added.

Donations can be made through Pineapple Support's website. Performers can create their own fundraising pages here.
