Cybersocket, Bear World Magazine Team Up for 'Key West Bear Weekend'

KEY WEST, Fla. — Cybersocket is partnering with Bear World Magazine to sponsor the Key West Bear Weekend, taking place Nov. 2-6.

“Join the bears in the hottest location in Florida for some fun and frolic in the sun,” a rep enthused.

This year’s events will include several pool parties and happy hours, along with the Britney Vs. Madonna Dance Party, the Fuzzy Flamingo Pool Party, the Beers and Bears Leather Ball, and the Mr. Key West Contest and Dance Party.

Cybersocket will present a pool party at Island House Key West on Friday starting at noon, hosted by “Bear with Us, Gurrrl” podcast personalities Alexander and Mr. Teddy Bear.

That evening starting at 9 p.m., Cybersocket director Alexander and Mr. Teddy Bear will also be on the scene as M.C. and guest judge respectively for the “Mr. Key West Bear” competition at the Bourbon Street Pub, where contestants from all over the nation will compete in a number of challenges to win the title and the cash prize.

Key West Bear Weekend, a rep explained, “continues Cybersocket’s mission to support events for and by the LGBTQ community, celebrate the diversity of the community and bring the gay adult world into the spotlight.”
