Vixen Exclusive Violet Myers Reflects on Rising Career

You can find Violet Myers at the intersection of all things geeky and sexy.

On Twitter, where she has amassed 1.3 million followers, she describes herself as an anime enthusiast, natural thicc waifu and sloppy toppy goddess. On OnlyFans, where she ranks among the highest echelons with more than 450,000 likes, she touts herself as a real-life hentai girl bringing the naughtiest fantasies to life. And as for Pornhub, Myers ranks among the top 15 most popular stars on the platform, with around 260 million views and 350,000 subscribers, proudly proclaiming her Mexican and Turkish roots and enticing fans to follow her sexual journey.

She has achieved these statistics over the past four years by appealing to a broad swath of fandom with a brand that is decidedly “curvy gamer girl next-door” in its overall vibe, backed by heaps of engagement that she strives to dole out generously. She performs on Twitch, sells merch on ShopVioletMyers.com, runs an official site at VioletMyers.club, creates SFW content on YouTube and sells shoutouts. Her hustle is robust, expansive and diversified.

With so much traffic flowing at her beck and call, she caught the attention of Vixen Media Group, which signed her to an exclusive contract this summer to appear in scenes for its studio brands Blacked, Deeper, Slayed, Tushy and Vixen. When she joined VMG's famed roster, which includes multi-award-winning talent like Maitland Ward and Avery Cristy, Casting Director Mike Moz remarked, “Violet is the total package.”

Now, she opens up about her personal goals, business strategies and upcoming projects, in this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: What inspired you to join the adult industry, and what are the biggest lessons you've learned over time?

MYERS: After I shot my first scene, I realized how easy it was and it wasn't as scary as people made it seem, so that really inspired me to see how long I could go with this journey of exploring my sexuality for everyone's pleasure. I've definitely learned many lessons, including how to manage my money and separate work from my personal life.

XBIZ: What is your approach to monetizing content and engaging fans on OnlyFans, where you have over 450,000 likes?

MYERS: My approach is that the fans always come first. My relationship with my fans is very personal, and they really love to engage with me. They want to get to know me, so that helps a lot with monetizing my content as well. Also, because I talk to them on a daily basis, I can see what they like and don't like, so it helps me with my own personal content. I also don't have a big head or think I'm better than any of my fans — I’ve noticed that helps a lot, because I'm just like them and really enjoy porn too.

XBIZ: Talk about Twitch streaming for your 48,000 followers. What games do you most enjoy? What's a "typical" Twitch show like on your channel?

MYERS: That depends on what day it is, because I like to have different types of games for my stream. I would say my favorites are playing Mario games on the Nintendo Switch and the Just Chatting section of Twitch, which is where I get to hang out with my fans while livestreaming; we listen to music, talk about anime or discuss whatever topics come up.

XBIZ: Describe your method for social media growth, in terms of the kind of content you post, juggling DMs and comments, etc.

MYERS: My way of growing on social media is constantly engaging with everyone, posting frequently and showing people who I truly am. Yes, I’m an adult actress, but I also have a personality, so I definitely like to show that. When it comes down to it, your performance can get you far, but engaging with fans is what really helps grow your social media. I don't just stick to one platform; I like to go everywhere I can and put all my eggs in all the baskets I can get them in.

XBIZ: Discuss your contract with Vixen Media Group and how that came about.

MYERS: My Vixen contract came about when I was ready to do my first anal and other firsts. Vixen really wanted to work with me for the longest time and it was such an honor that they would even want to sign a contract with me. So when my agent approached me about Vixen, I immediately said “Yes!” Not only are their productions beautiful, but they have such a tightknit team I’m honored to be a part of. They all work so hard on set with their big-budget scenes too. After my Blacked Raw debut with Vixen Media Group, I knew that I really wanted to work with them in the long run. All their directors are amazing, and it makes me feel like such a star. It’s always a great day on set and I leave with a smile.

XBIZ: What are a few scenes from the Vixen Media Group brands that really stood out for you this year?

MYERS: Definitely the ones for Slayed, because I have never seen such elegance and high production for a lesbian website. My first was “Deliverables” with Vicki Chase, and my most recent scene for them is “Confrontation” with Anissa Kate. Both have interesting storylines and hot girl-on-girl sex. You definitely want to watch both of them.

XBIZ: Reflecting on your career so far, what milestones or achievements are you most proud of?

MYERS: I'm really proud of every single achievement I've managed so far, whether it's inside or outside of the industry, including my YouTube channel, winning a Fleshbot award and signing at the Bad Dragon booth at Exxxotica. But I probably feel most fulfilled about signing with Vixen, because I never really would have imagined working with them, so this is such an achievement for me.

XBIZ: What's your strategy for staying healthy, mentally and physically, as a performer?

MYERS: My strategy for staying healthy in all aspects is exercising; working out is my therapy. Another is hanging out with my family. I'm really blessed that my family is really accepting of what I do, so they still see me as a regular family member and I get to hang out with them, which is always amazing. Also, I pay close attention to what I put in my body; if I eat like crap, I feel like crap. I like to cook and eat healthily, which really helps with my mental and physical performance. I'm also sober, so I don't drink or smoke, but I still definitely enjoy eating.

XBIZ: Tell us what your biggest goals are for the coming year and any special projects releasing soon that fans can look forward to.

MYERS: I'm excited about shooting my first anal, other firsts and more with Vixen, as I’ve always wanted to accomplish those goals in the industry; I just had to work my way up there. So fans can look out for those soon. I’m also looking forward to seeing my YouTube channel grow; it's been doing really well, and I've been consistent with it, which makes me truly happy.
