Roam Launches New Line of All-Gender Toys

LONDON — Roam has launched a line of luxury pleasure products "designed for everyone, irrespective of gender or sexuality."

The U.K. brand, described by a rep as a “sex care disruptor,” launched its adult toy line with three products: The Wand, The Plug and The Pebble, all of which retail in the U.K. for £60.

“We wanted products we were proud to buy and use, not ones we’d shove under a magazine at checkout, hoping Sue-behind-the-till didn’t notice,” said Roam founders Alex and Ben in a joint statement.

“We looked, but all we could find was naff packaging — think bright-blue dildo-shaped lubes — no naturality, and aggressive slogans,” the pair remarked. “So we created Roam. Roam exists for all of us. Our aim is to challenge stigmas around sex, and to provide a range that supports what feels natural, so you can explore with comfort and confidence.”

Roam is already known in the U.K. for its condoms and lubricants.

The company also offers combo kits like “The Wedding Kit” — comprised of a Pebble Toy; Cucumber-Yuzu Infused Lube; and Passion Seed, Argan and Vitamin E Intimate Oil — and the “All Vibe Set,” which features all three of the brand's new sex toys.

The Pebble is described as “a unisex toy designed for discretion,” with nine vibration modes and four speed levels for use on erogenous zones.

The Wand is “designed for vaginal exploration, with nine vibration modes, four speed levels and a multi-flexible body to help you achieve your pleasure,” while the The Plug has been designed “for anal exploration,” the rep added.
